The
unit supports a wide range of sensor technologies, including electrochemical
sensors for oxygen and toxic gases, infrared sensors for flammable gases and
carbon dioxide, and MPS sensing for combustible gas detection. This flexibility
allows users to configure the detector according to the risks present on site.
By combining up to two sensors within a single device, the iSens Duo helps
reduce hardware footprint while extending monitoring capability. It has also
relative humidity and temperature sensors to complement the gas readings.
The
detector communicates wirelessly via LoRa or LoRaWAN, with optional NB-IoT/LTE
connectivity for cloud-based monitoring. It can send gas readings, alarm
conditions and device status either to a GasVisor control panel or to remote
software platforms such as Sensotrak. With an internal battery offering up to
24 months of autonomy, the device is easy to install and ideal for locations
where wiring is difficult or expensive. NFC-based setup and calibration
simplify field maintenance, while automatic alerts for signal loss or low
battery help maintain system integrity and operational confidence.
