The
detector is designed for easy deployment. Because it uses wireless LoRa
communication and an internal battery with up to two years of autonomy,
installation is fast and does not require extensive cabling infrastructure.
This makes it especially suitable for retrofit projects, temporary monitoring
points, difficult-to-access locations and sites where civil works must be
minimised.
In
operation, iSens can transmit readings to a GasVisor control panel for local
supervision and alarm management, or through LoRaWAN to remote monitoring
software and cloud platforms. The system can also report communication loss and
low battery conditions, helping users maintain visibility of detector health as
well as gas status. With long-distance communication capability, scalable
network integration and support for numerous gas types and measuring ranges,
iSens offers an efficient and cost-effective way to extend fixed gas detection
across industrial sites.
