Light and portable, the sling enables a safe, comfortable and dignified transfer from a wheelchair to any other location. It allows for fast evacuation in an emergency situation and gives families and carers the freedom to go on holidays and days out where there are no hoists available.

Simply place the ProMove sling under the child and the soft material forms a bucket-shaped seat, providing good support and a sense of security for moving and transferring. A three-point strap crossing the hips and passing between the legs can be used if required.

Strategically-placed rubber handles at the front and back can be easily grasped by two to eight carers making moving and handling controlled and secure and reducing the risk of manual handling injuries.

Although the children’s sling is intended primarily for use without a hoist, the addition of hoist straps mean it can be used with a patient handling hoist with a spreader bar (not models with a clip attachment).

Manufactured in the UK and designed to accommodate a range of different sizes, slings can also be adapted to meet specific requirements.
