ZoneSafe proximity warning safety technology creates a detection zone around vehicles so that dangers are detected (even when they can’t be seen) and collisions are avoided.

 

PROXIMITY SENSOR

ZoneSafe proximity sensors create an adjustable detection zone around the vehicle and detect proximity tags (worn by your workforce). Proximity tags are detected through racking, around corners and behind doors making ZoneSafe one of the safest solutions on the market.

DETECTION ZONE

With full 360-degree detection around the vehicle, proximity tags are detected inside the adjustable detection zone and up to 10m away from the vehicle. Multiple proximity sensors can be added to create either one large zone or individual detection zones around the vehicle.

CONTROL UNIT

The in-cab control unit is located next to the driver offering easy access. When the proximity sensor detects a tag, an audible, visual alarm from the control unit warns the driver that pedestrian workers are in close proximity. Alarms differ between single and multiple detections.

PROXIMITY TAGS

ZoneSafe proximity tags are worn by pedestrian workers, making the tag wearer detectable and part of the system. When a proximity tag is detected, the tag vibrates, pulsing to let the wearer know a vehicle is approaching.

TAG CHARGING

Easily keep proximity tags charged using ZoneSafe wireless multi-tag or single-tag charging units. Keep tags topped up or fully charge each proximity tag for up to three months of use in between charges. Tags take up to 2 hours to fully charge.

DATA MANAGEMENT

The system records a range of useful data events accessed through the my.zonesafe cloud. Safety data includes proximity detections, location and trends, helping you to identify problems and risk areas.
