Stalking is a heinous crime that is both under-recognised and under-reported. Up to 21 people around a victim of stalking are put at risk by the perpetrator, including family and friends, children, and work colleagues. Many HR and H&S officers are not trained to deal with victims of stalking and many victims simply do not report their ordeal to their employer, which can lead to poor risk mitigation.
