Evac+Chair has launched a new 24V, Lithium-Ion battery operated, motorised evacuation chair, to further complement its wide range of products. The 900H Power is designed for one-person operation, its Powered Belt Track System reduces manual handling and facilitates a smooth, safe and quick method of upward or downward evacuation. One full battery charge provides enough power to last for 150 flights of stairs, giving complete peace of mind that the mobility impaired can be evacuated upwards or downwards in an emergency.

The 900H Power has an easy-to-use control pad enabling the user to control the speed and direction (whether that be upward or downward) of the evacuation chair. The head support, arm and foot rest provide support and comfort to the passenger. With a payload capacity of 160kg (25 stone) the 900H Power can evacuate bariatric passengers with ease and the ascending control handles, enable a second person to assist.

Evac+Chair offer Nationwide UK coverage for training, maintenance and servicing providing complete peace of mind that the customer and their evacuation chair will be fully supported throughout its lifetime.  Choosing the right product is paramount and Evac+Chair offer FREE evacuation assessments; to ensure that the most suitable product is provided for the application, building and personnel requirements. It is also recommended that all operators carry out Evac+Chair training to ensure they are fully prepared on deploying and utilising the chair in an emergency evacuation, for this the company offers two training types of training courses.

As a Class 1 Medical Device and as outlined in PUWER – Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1988, it is recommended that an Evac+Chair should be regularly serviced and maintained to ensure its safe operation. To assist you in meeting this legal requirement, Evac+Chair offer 12-month, 3- and 5-year maintenance contracts.
