Janet has been an active trade unionist and representative since starting work at Bae in 1980.  She has been an ET member since 1995 and after a career break with her 3 children, returned to work in Trade Union Education and then eventually started work at Greater Manchester Hazards Centre 7 years ago, where  Janet is the coordinator and Chair of the UK Hazards Campaign.
