John is a Trustee of GHUK with lived experience as an affected other, alongside senior leadership and governance experience within the healthcare sector. He has held Chief Executive and Non-Executive roles, including chairing Audit, Finance, Quality and Risk committees, and brings strong system leadership and risk management expertise. He previously served as Chief Executive of GHUK, leading the development of integrated system level work in Essex, and now volunteers as a Trustee and System Lead, supporting the charity’s mission to prevent avoidable gambling related harm.
