•    Advisor to the British Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office & Department for Science Innovation & Technology
•    Chairman of the Editorial Board at SHP Informa
•    Board Independent Non-Executive Director at the international organisation Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor

Karl is a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer; holds an MSC in Environmental, Safety & Health Management.  He is a Lecturer at The University of Cambridge on Artificial Intelligence and studied digital strategy at Harvard University.
