Unlocking Potential: Navigating ADHD in the Workplace

01 May 2024

The recent and dramatic rise in adults seeking an ADHD diagnosis in the UK is undeniable. Although as many as 1.5 million adults in the UK likely have ADHD, around 90% of them remain undiagnosed. With NHS waiting times to access an adult ADHD assessment being as long as 5 years or more, and with increasing ‘self-diagnosis’, it’s important to develop a better societal understanding of what ADHD really is, and how it affects people. This seminar will help people to understand ADHD, including its causes, diagnosis, and treatment, demystifying common myths around the disorder. The session will cover the impact of ADHD on occupational safety and health, practical strategies to support adults with ADHD in the workplace to enhance their productivity and protect from stress, and include an interactive Q&A session, where you can ask questions and seek advice on specific challenges.
