WHY VISIT THE HEALTH & SAFETY EVENT AS A CONSULTANT

Keep your advice current.

The Health & Safety Event brings suppliers, practitioners and safety professionals together at the NEC Birmingham from 27-29 April 2027. If you advise clients on workplace health and safety, it’s three days to check what’s on the market, test your thinking with peers and come back with recommendations you can stand behind.

  • Compare the market before you recommend: See suppliers side by side, from PPE / Workwear to Safety & Health Software / AI, and ask the technical questions in person.
  • Add to your CPD record: All sessions are CPD-accredited through The CPD Group. Scan the QR code at each session you attend to receive a personalised certificate you can upload to CPD Passport.
  • Build the network behind your advice: Meet suppliers, trainers and specialists you can refer clients to, and compare notes with peers working in other sectors.

CURRENT KNOWLEDGE. CONFIDENT RECOMMENDATIONS.

Advising clients across different sites, sectors and risks? The Health & Safety Event brings together the products, services and practical learning behind workplace health and safety, from PPE / Workwear and Working at Height to Safety & Health Software / AI. See what’s available, question the people who supply it, and go back to your clients with advice you’ve tested for yourself.

For independent consultants, consultancy teams and advisers who support organisations with workplace health, safety and risk.

SHORTLIST BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Use the exhibitor list to find suppliers by product area and match them to the client questions on your desk. Arrive with a route, not just a floorplan.

PLAN YOUR LEARNING

The 2027 floorplan includes the Knowledge Exchange Theatre, Practical Safety Theatre, Driver Safety Theatre and Lone Worker Safety LIVE. Sessions will be added as they’re confirmed. Seminars are first-come, first-served, so arrive early and scan the QR code at each one for your CPD certificate.

LEAVE ROOM FOR CONVERSATIONS

Some of the most useful exchanges happen between stands. Use the Networking Café to catch up with peers, follow up with suppliers and compare notes on what you’ve seen.

START WITH A CLIENT MEETING

PLAN YOUR VISIT

Bring a non-confidential outline of the client issues on your desk: the sites, sectors and risks you’re currently advising on. Identify the product areas that matter, compare supplier approaches and note the questions you need answered before your next recommendation. Leave time for the seminar sessions and the conversations in between.

The Health & Safety Event 2027 takes place in Halls 2 and 3 at the NEC Birmingham from 27-29 April 2027. Its central location means getting there fits around a busy diary, whether you’re heading in from a client site, the office or overseas.

Birmingham International railway station is just a five-minute walk from the halls, with direct trains from major UK cities, so you can travel in, walk the floor and be back on the road the same day. The M6, M40 and M42 connect by road, and if you’re coming from overseas, Birmingham Airport is close by.

With free parking for visitors and exhibitors, attending The Health & Safety Event couldn’t be easier.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR CONSULTANTS

The event is open to anyone responsible for health and safety in the workplace within the industrial, commercial or public sectors. That includes independent and agency consultants who advise organisations on workplace health, safety and risk, alongside in-house safety, facilities, operations and procurement professionals.

Your advice is only as current as your knowledge of what’s available. The event lets you compare suppliers side by side, question them directly, hear from practitioners in the seminar programme and add CPD-accredited learning to your record, all in one visit.

The exhibition covers areas including Risk Assessment, Safety & Health Software / AI, Occupational Health & Wellbeing, Occupational Hygiene, Training and Qualifications, PPE / Workwear, Working at Height, Driver Safety and Lone Worker / Confined Space. See the exhibitor list for companies taking part in 2027.

The event attracts visitors from over 20 industry sectors, with construction, engineering and manufacturing the largest. That breadth means you can research solutions for several clients’ risk profiles in a single visit rather than chasing suppliers one by one.

All sessions are CPD-accredited through The CPD Group. Attend a session and scan the QR code displayed there to receive a personalised CPD certificate. You can then upload your certificates to CPD Passport to keep track of your professional development. CPD is recorded for the sessions you attend and scan in to, not for entry to the event alone.

Yes. Your visitor ticket also gives you access to the co-located events: The Fire Safety Event, The Facilities Event, The Workplace Event, The Security Event and National Cyber Security Show. That’s useful when a client’s brief stretches beyond health and safety.
